  • Day to day support of local IT Infrastructure
  • Train and orient staff on use of hardware and software
  • Monitor and respond to alarms.
  • Provide quality customer service for customer-reported information technology problems
  • Independently log calls into help desk database, work through current items in help desk queue, provide follow-up and resolution of these calls, thoroughly document analysis and resolution
  • Diagnosis issues. Resolve with Service Desk and Network Operations staff and/or escalate to the Manager, Shared Services teams, or Vendors as necessary
  • Manage user and computer accounts with Active Directory
  • Maintain a current laptop and desktop image collection and distribution scheme
  • With support from shared services, install, and maintain network, communication and server equipment
  • Install, configure, and maintain printers/scanners
  • Install, configure, and maintain client machines
  • Assist in core infrastructure installation such as pulling cable, terminating network and phone connections, installing racks, and racking servers
  • Compile technical information applicable to current hardware and software configuration and create documentation for user training and reference
  • Participate in on call rotation


The successful candidate must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • Positive customer service and team attitude (helping others when required)
  • Focused on quality, organized and committed to continuous improvement
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows client operating systems and hardware
  • Operational understanding of Active Directory
  • Minimum 2 years IT Infrastructure administrative or support experience, or demonstrate equivalent competencies (desirable)
  • Experience in desktop computing, Point of Sale systems, and applications specific to the attraction and hospitality industries. i.e.: Retail Pro, RTP and Micros (desirable).
  • Information Technology degree, diploma or related education, or demonstrate equivalent competencies (desirable)
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (desirable)
  • A+ Certification processes (desirable)
  • The position is primarily in an office setting, however, it may require limited travel for business support
  • Able to manipulate equipment weighing up to 20kg
  • As part of a small, multi-disciplinary IT team, the position may occasionally involve other tasks in the software development life cycle, or assisting with IT infrastructure issues
